Course Profile
This course is intended for managers and internal management system auditors.
It is designed to give a practical understanding of the purposes and requirements of ISO 9001:2008, the application of a process approach and the methods and benefits of internal management system audits.
With a mixture of presentation, interactive sessions and active workshops, the course develops the principles and practices of internal process auditing and shows how these can be used to improve the performance of the organisation.
The learning methods used are highly interactive and allow delegates to learn through active involvement.
This course includes an option for delegates to carry out a live audit of selected processes in the company.
At the end of this course delegates will have gained an understanding of how to plan, prepare, carry out and report effective internal management system audits according to ISO 19011 Guidelines for Quality and Environmental Management Systems Auditing.
They will also understand the importance of auditing and the part it plays in continual improvement of a process based management system.
