Course Profile
This course is intended for heads of departments, senior managers and
personnel who have responsibilities for directing and operating management
systems.
It is designed to give a practical understanding of the use of the
management system as a tool for achieving business objectives, the purposes and
requirements of ISO 9001:2008, the application of a process approach and how the
management system can be used to deliver increased performance and continual
improvement.
With a mixture of presentation, interactive sessions and active
workshops, the course identifies key issues in the business environment,
significant organizational objectives, key result areas and associated
processes. The course develops the principles and practices of effective
process management as required by ISO 9001 and shows how these can be used to
improve the performance of the organisation.
The learning methods used are highly interactive and allow participants
to learn through active involvement and teamwork.
At the end of this course participants will have gained an understanding
of how the ISO 9001 compliant management system can be used to achieve objectives,
manage risks, deliver increased performance and cause continual improvement.
